Rewind 15 years, and Becca and Bernadette’s journey began on the Pal Talk chat site. Fast forward to today, and their love story has brought them to Broadoaks. Here, their dream intimate wedding became a reality, far exceeding their expectations.
The Quest for the Perfect Venue
Like many couples, Becca and Bernadette envisioned a unique and intimate, yet exclusive-use wedding experience. Their search presented challenges as many venues hesitated due to their smaller party size. Fortunately, they discovered us, and we’re thrilled they did.
A Warm Welcome and Impeccable Attention to Detail
Nestled in the heart of the Lake District National Park, our award-winning licensed wedding venue offers exclusive use with boutique rooms to accommodate up to 40 adults for an overnight stay. For Becca and Bernadette, it’s our warm welcome and commitment to personalised service that left a lasting impression.
Their two-night celebration, from June 12 to 13, was an exclusive affair hosting about 18 cherished guests. The evening before featured a laid-back buffet-style meal, followed by a four-course sit-down meal on the big day.
What stood out for the couple was our meticulous organisation. A personalised newsletter outlining the day’s schedule made everything feel well-paced, avoiding the rushed ‘conveyor belt’ vibe often associated with weddings.
