Relax and unwind,
you deserve the better things in life...
not too far from the beaten path,
but just enough to feel like a world away.

The onset of the coronavirus pandemic has touched us all, and it is likely that it may go on for some time to come.
Following the government announcement at 5pm on 20th March, we took the hard – but we feel right – decision to temporarily close our lovely front door to the public.
If you have a room or wedding reservation with us, we will be in contact with you all individually in the next few days to have a chat to see when you would like to re arrange your booking.
Thanks to the government our dedicated staff members who give a huge amount of energy and passion to make what we do possible, are safe and well and can now breathe a sigh of relief that the government will still support them by paying 80% of their salaries until we reopen our doors.
We will be planning a few upgrades to Broadoaks while we are closed , we will keep you posted on Facebook with pictures of what we are up to so do keep following us.
We wish you all well and look forward to welcoming you back.
Best Wishes,

Luxury Lake District Hotel & Wedding Venue

We started with a big list. A big, luxe list of all the things we really appreciate, or would really love to find, in the most restful, relaxing, informal and totally indulgent place to stay for those precious moments when you allow yourself to step out of the ordinary and away from the everyday.

We’ve been listening to our guests (of course!) and adding to Broadoaks’ comforts and luxuries with you in mind - and now you’re here, taking a look at us; we’re delighted to welcome you.

Lake District Wedding or just a Relax in The Lakes. Whether you’re looking to de-stress with a total pamper, tie the knot with your soulmate in a very special place, or chill out with friends and family in grand surroundings with a modern twist Broadoaks is a great place to start.

Not too far off the beaten path, this lovely country house hotel occupies one of the most beautiful spots in the Lake District, perched as it is surrounded by glorious woodland with its magnificent grounds framed by the flush of the river that tumbles into Lake Windermere.

Crackling fires, comfy beds, warm, tactile and beautifully made fabrics, from caramel cashmeres to crisp white cottons. Broadoaks is a grand Belle of the Lakes, and a great wedding venue to enjoy - whatever the occasion. Traditionally built from Lake District stone and slate, her sweeping driveway and seven acres of landscaped grounds are perfectly placed to furnish you with views across to Windermere and The Langdale Pikes. Roam the grounds and try a spot of clay pigeon shooting or find a sun-drenched spot to relax, breathe and reconnect. If a speedy journey and a leisurely stay is your thing, we even have a helipad - just in case.

The beautifully proportioned inside spaces are warm, inviting and often playful, mixing stylish modernity with ingle nook fireplaces and period furniture. Stay in the main house or tuck yourself away in one of the lovely private garden suites. And, yes, it is all about you. If you’re passing, call in.
