Broadoaks Country House is the Award Winning Lake District wedding venue that offers exclusive use of the entire house and grounds, perfect for couples looking for an intimate wedding venue. Broadoaks is also the No1 GAY venue in Cumbria for Civil Partnerships’ and weddings.
Exclusive hire wedding packages start from as little as £2,999 and we can accommodate up to 100 day guests for a sit-down meal and up to 130 guests for your evening celebration. Choose from our selection of 19 luxury boutique bedrooms or garden lodges for your nearest and dearest, along with a spacious bridal suite. Alternatively, if a small and intimate wedding is more your style, we can accommodate weddings as small as just the two of you.
Select from our five licensed ceremony areas, and for those dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, our lush green doubles up as a helipad for that grand wow-factor entrance.
Luxury in the Heart of the Lake District
Not too far off the beaten path, this lovely country house hotel occupies one of the most beautiful spots in the Lake District, perched as it is surrounded by glorious woodland with its magnificent grounds framed by the flush of the river that tumbles into Lake Windermere.
Crackling fires, comfy beds, warm, tactile and beautifully made fabrics, from caramel cashmeres to crisp white cottons. Broadoaks is a grand Belle of the Lakes, and a great wedding venue to enjoy – whatever the occasion. Traditionally built from Lake District stone and slate, her sweeping driveway and seven acres of landscaped grounds are perfectly placed to furnish you with views across to Windermere and The Langdale Pikes. Roam the grounds and try a spot of clay pigeon shooting or find a sun-drenched spot to relax, breathe and reconnect.
