The views from Ash are arguably the best in the house; antique Victorian leaded windows frame a picturesque scene leading from our beautiful grounds right across to Lake Windermere in the distance.

Room Details

You can hear the sound of the fast flowing river Troutbeck from the valley to the left of the house, Ash is a real treat to your senses the sound of flowing water from the main fountain at the front of the building will be sure to send you into a sound sleep.

Ash has just been completely refurbished with a new roll top Victorian bath and fittings . The room is beautifully decorated with Fleur de lys designer wallpaper and a lush thick grey carpet. The Louis XV Vintage French style Super king size bed creates an overall style of naughty but nice luxury.

If you’re new to the lakes this is an excellent room to take in our wonderful grounds and surrounding countryside, binoculars give you the opportunity to spot our regular Roe deer visitors who can be seen most mornings in the grounds.
