Figgy’s Bar

Setting The Bar for your Perfect Wedding Day

Named after the lord of the manor himself, Figgy, our four-legged employee makes an appearance not only on our wall of fame, but also around the venue on his occasional visits to keep the team in check. We welcome your V.I.Pets in the bar as we know they are very much part of the family!

The Hangover Only Lasts a Day, But the Memories Last a Lifetime

Set at the heart of the venue, our bar is never too far away for your guests. With a wide selection of spirits, wines, lager and local ales you could even go that one step further and personalise your wedding with a signature cocktail specifically chosen and customised to suit your day.

Our dedicated Bar Manager will be happy to discuss any particular drinks ideas you may have in mind.

About us

“A Wedding Day to remember”

Absolutely incredible from start to finish, the venue is exactly what we were looking for and in the heart of the lake district! All the wedding coordinators we dealt with were friendly and professional especially our coordinators on the day before our wedding, Jo and our coordinator on the day, Issie were absolutely amazing and couldn’t of done enough for you. They always checked to see if we needed anything and were always on hand to answer any questions we had…

“Lovely wedding venue”

We attended a wedding which was great from start to finish. Set in wonderful grounds the hotel has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our room was modern and clean with easy access to the main hotel. The wedding breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and professional.

“Amazing wedding location”

We spent two nights at Broadoaks staying in Walnut – a large accessible room accessed straight from the car park via a ramp. This was part of a wedding party. The room had a large walk in shower; Japanese slipper bath; TV opposite the bath; starry lights in the ceiling; a super-king white four-poster bed and tea/coffee making facilities along with enough space for a wheelchair. The whole hotel was then accessible from the room. It was definitely a luxury room.
