Well, no doubt you’ll have seen quite a bit to whet the appetite just on the journey to Broadoaks boutique hotel but, when you arrive, just take a moment to have a good look around.

Actually, you’ll probably want to take more than just a moment. Look to the North and East and that’s the start of the Troutbeck fells, whilst stretching out in front of the hotel you’ll see glimpses of the near Lake Windermere, guarded over by the wooded backdrop of Claife Heights. To the North West the Langdale Pikes are a picture framed by mature trees and are best enjoyed when bathed in the glow of evening sunshine.

So, which is the best view? Well, that’s one for you to decide.
