Tracey Robinson (Owner) Tracey bought Broadoaks Country House in Oct 2007 after a career spanning over 25 years in Engineering and the world of corporate IT. Originally from Liverpool this beautiful Country House allows Tracey to spend time with her family when in the North. Tracey now spends her time between Surrey and Cumbria and acts as the visionary behind the goal of becoming one of Cumbria's finest and most chic Country House Hotels. John Sloggie (Non Executive Chairman) John Sloggie joined the Broadoaks Management team in Jan 2008. John has spent his entire career in the hospitality industry and has managed hotels from 12 rooms to 500 rooms. He also spent many years working at Condé Nast Johansens as a hotel inspector. Johns experience of day to day proceedures within the hotel industry is second to non he is a key player in ensuring that Broadoaks over exceeds its standards at all times. Eye Colour: Brown Favourite Car: His Volvo Favourite Film: The Assassin Hobbies: John can be heard playing his organ to many a Scottish tune. If you are into Scottish dancing then John is your man! Chris Marsh (General Manager) Chris Marsh joined the Broadoaks Management team in March 2009, prior to joining Broadoaks Chris ran two prestigious country house hotels in the Scottish Borders. Chris has always worked in hotel since leaving university and carries a wealth of experience in managing Country House style properties. Zoë Edmonds (Deputy General Manager) Zoë joined Broadoaks in January 2010. She has worked with Chris and John before in previous hotels and it is great to have her as part of the team at Broadoaks. She is in charge when Chris is not on site and is the expert when it comes to Weddings. Eye Colour: Dark Brown Favourite Car: One's she can't afford! Favourite Film: Step Up 2 Hobbies: Zoë loves singing! She is currently looking for a choir to join in the area. Viki Spedding (Duty Manager) Viki has completed a Hair and Beauty Course and has aspirations to use her hospitality and beauty experience to have her own business one day. Viki was brought up in Bowness and as such she is very knowledgeable about things to do and place to go in the local area. Tracey Willan (Duty Manager) Tracey has been keeping the office running now for the past couple of years. She has recently returned to Broadoaks after being on maternity leave for the last 9 months. Eye Colour: Blue Favourite Car: She doesn't care about cars. Favourite Film: Footloose Hobbies: Martha her little baby! Although Tracey says that's more of a Job at times than a hobby. Taran Baxter (Head Chef) For the past 13 years Taran has been creating plate after plate of tasty dishes for Broadoaks and is really like our mum - she feeds us and keeps us all happy! Eye Colour: Blue Favourite Car: Ferrari (Red of Course) Favourite Film: Last of the Mohicans Hobbies: Her boyfriend Ryon - How Sweet! Ryon is the sous chef and he won the Troutbeck Panacake race! Tonita Brown (Head Housekeeper) Tonita works very hard to ensure that all the rooms are spic and span. Tonita joined us back in 2008 and has come all the way over from Jamica to help us in our quest for a clean and tidy house!
