We have just returned from our stay. What can we say - the approach to the country house, the fountain which was directly outside of the Ash room windows, staff and food were excellent. We went there for our 2nd wedding anniversary and were not disappointed with anything. Staff very friendly, a very clean and welcoming place to stay with great views and surroundings.

We have just stayed for 2 days in the Pine room at Broadoaks and have to say that the whole place is amazing. The staff, accommodation, surroundings and especially the food was top class and I would like to thank everyone for making our stay so pleasurable. First rate!!!!

How blown away I was as the car turned up the driveway! Little did I know that this first impression would only be enhanced and my stay went on. Having never visited the Lake District, I was so pleased that this was my introduction to this part of the country. The hotel was picturesque, as were the views and the rooms were warm and inviting. The hotel still feels like a country manor and the owners and staff saw to every need without being constantly in the foreground. more > |
