Just a quick note to say we had an extremely relaxing two nights with you. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and the upper coach house room was fantastic. We would recommend the hotel to anyone who is just looking to get away from modern day life and wanting to totally chill which is what we did. I'm sure we will be back.

I just wanted to thank you for a lovely bank holiday weekend. The Yew Room was lovely, and felt like its own little house being in the building next to the main hotel.
The bed was so comfortable I could have spent the whole weekend not leaving the room!!
The whirlpool bath was out of this world, especially after a couple of days trekking on the hillside.
Such luxury!
I'd loved to have found out who was in the helicopter that landed just as we were heading out for the day!
We loved our stay there. Thanks to you and the most friendly team on the reception.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you... Tuesday 19th August our Wedding Day truly was an amazing day!!!
The food was outstanding during my 4 days at the hotel, every meal without fail was faultless. We ate at other local establishments and they did not even come close.
The service was commendable, all the staff; Joe, Robert, 'the doctor'
Gareth, Jessica and the chamber maids were all approachable, welcoming and provided us all with quality service.
To top it all though... the hotel and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, making it the perfect back drop for my perfect big day. Even more so you accept dogs!!

Our second stay, and (if possible) even more enjoyable than the first. We stayed in the Elm Suite, which was magnificent, and being on the ground floor and with separate access was perfect not just for us, but also for our dog, who was made a fuss over by all the staff and left her own biscuit with the coffee making facilities! This was a pre-wedding break for us, and all the stresses melted away in the wonderfully relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I cannot recommend the place highly enough, from the fantastic food to the beautiful setting.

I booked the day before through LateRooms and I have to say, considering my frazzled state, this hotel turned into one of the nicest breaks I have EVER had. And as my staff would tell you, I'm not easily pleased. I went with my 7 year old daughter and we would have booked to stay longer but the place was fully booked! I'm not surprised.
The staff were so sweet to my daughter, going to the trouble of showing her around, bringing special bath salts for her to use in the Jacuzzi (which she lived in) and offering to cook her choice of food ie - chicken nuggets, alongside their excellent menu!
She particularly adored David.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and I will definitely return!

We have just returned from our stay. What can we say - the approach to the country house, the fountain which was directly outside of the Ash room windows, staff and food were excellent. We went there for our 2nd wedding anniversary and were not disappointed with anything. Staff very friendly, a very clean and welcoming place to stay with great views and surroundings.
